This work is by artist Elizabeth Murray. The name of this work is The Sun and the Moon. This work uses contrast and variety. There are many different kinds of shapes. There is a lot going on in the piece, with everything different sizes and colors. Many lines are thicker and larger than others. One example would be the water drops that gradually get larger. There are many different colors and shapes to look at and some of the colors and shapes are repeated, but none are the exact same.
