Repetition and Rhythm

This piece is called Sedation.  This work is by artist Jacob Lawrence.  This work shows the use of repetition and rhythm.  This is shown through the use of color and shapes. The arrows show the repetitive use of the colors, blue, green and brown.  The shapes above the men repeat in different angles. The shapes of the men are all similar, including the shape of the bodies and the heads.
